Aboard the Halve Maen, we host football nights for groups of up to 40 people. No luxury dinner, no Michelin-star package — just good beer, hot snacks, two screens, and a group of people who really want to experience the match.

Two screens, a view for everyone

Hidden in the bar of the Halve Maen is a 50-inch screen that rises at the front, and a second screen hangs at the back of the boat. The boat is designed so that every seat has a view of the screen. Relaxed chairs at the front, high tables and bar stools in the middle, and circular seating at the back. Perfect view for everyone. With the sound resonating throughout the boat, you get the feeling as if you are right in the middle of it.

Bar, service, and pub classics

Freshly tapped Heineken beers, hot snacks, or a charcuterie board — our hostesses take care of it all. A pub night with the service of a private party.

With friends or as a company outing

For groups of friends who really want to experience an important match together, this is the perfect location. Not at someone's home on the couch, not in an overcrowded pub, but in a floating ‘private pub’ with your best friends.

Ajax

The ArenA is usually sold out for major matches, and tickets are hard to come by. On board the Halve Maen, you can watch important Ajax matches with your own company. The Eredivisie or a midweek Champions League evening — wonderful occasions to experience together with friends or colleagues.

Oranje: World Cup, European Championship, Nations League, and qualifiers

We can cover all matches of the Dutch national team. From a midweek qualifier to a match at the final tournament on a summer evening. European Championship, World Cup, Nations League, and the qualifiers, all on board the Halve Maen.

2026 World Cup in Canada, Mexico, and the United States

The 2026 World Cup will be played in June and July in Canada, Mexico, and the United States. We can broadcast all of Oranje's matches. For expats in Amsterdam: Naturally, we can also broadcast the matches of your favorite country — Brazil, Argentina, England, Spain, France, the United States, or Germany; we will take care of it.

Entertainment: performances before, during, and after the match

Want to turn a football evening from ‘really fun’ and ‘super nice’ into ‘absolutely UNFORGETTABLE’? Let us arrange a singer. We have the equipment — mixer, rack, microphone — on board as standard, so we can turn it into a party before kick-off, at half-time, or after the final whistle. Singing along to the club anthem and Hazes during an Ajax night, or singing the Wilhelmus, Wij Houden van Oranje, and Viva Hollandia at the top of your lungs during an Orange night; that will be talked about for a long time.

Availability and scheduling:

De Halve Maen is a popular venue for all kinds of boat trips — cruises, dinners, corporate bookings. For football nights, the rule is: if the boat is still available on that evening, we are happy to organize a football cruise.
