Seated Dinner

A floating restaurant

For a sit-down dinner, we transform the Halve Maen into a floating restaurant. A long table in the middle of the boat, set and with generously spaced place settings: 55 to 60 centimeters per person. The chairs are exceptionally spacious and comfortable; restaurant quality. Our chef prepares every dish on board right there, and while you dine, our skipper takes you past the most beautiful spots in Amsterdam — an environment that no restaurant can offer.

The Menu

The menu has been created by our chef and consists of five or six courses:

• Amuse-bouche: pani puri filled with chickpea cream and sumac

• Soup: seasonal vegetables

• Starter: smoked ribeye carpaccio with Parmesan, pine nuts, arugula, and fried capers

• Main course: veal cheek with red wine sauce, mashed potatoes, and glazed carrots

• Dessert: seasonal dessert (chef's surprise), or vanilla panna cotta with baked white chocolate, red fruit, meringue, and atsina cress

• Optional: cheese platter from Kef

For a vegetarian option, we will arrange a suitable solution in consultation. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements when making your request.

High-quality Drinks

With your dinner, you can choose from one of our standard drinks packages — featuring fine wines, beer, soft drinks, and cocktails from our own bar. For those seeking more exclusivity, we also offer a wide selection of individual bottles of wine: carefully selected high-end wines to pair with dinner. These bottles must be ordered in advance, as we do not keep them on board as standard. Finally, we feature the most extensive champagne list of any Amsterdam shipping company. All drinks are served in beautiful, high-quality glassware.

Boarding and disembarking throughout Amsterdam

We will pick you up at virtually any official boarding or disembarking pier in Amsterdam — close to home, a hotel, or a pre-arranged location. You can find an overview on our Boarding locations page.
