Running Dinner

The running dinner is a multi-course dinner while sailing. Instead of cooking on board, we sail past various Amsterdam restaurants, where we pick up a course at each stop. Consequently, you do not dine at a single location, but along a route — a culinary journey on the water, with the city as a stopover.

The Prince of New Amsterdam as the perfect boat

We use the Prince of New Amsterdam for the running dinner. The Prince is our most intimate sloop — an atmospheric, riveted steel vessel from 1946 with its own cocktail bar and wooden paneling. We set the tables beautifully, with white tablecloths and carefully laid cutlery.

Dining in the open air on summer evenings

On beautiful summer evenings, we sail the Prince with the top down. The wooden superstructure and glass windows are removed, and you dine literally in the open air between stops — with the Amsterdam summer air above the table and the water flowing alongside the boat. It doesn't get much more unique than this.

How it works

In our booking tool, you put together your own dinner from a range of pre-set choices per course. Our skipper sails you past the relevant restaurants and collects a course at each stop. You remain on board during the trip, where you will be served.
High-quality drinks
With dinner, you can choose from one of our drinks packages, featuring fine wines, beer, soft drinks, or cocktails. Boarding and disembarking
