The Vastberaden is a riveted aluminium sloop from the 1950s, named after one of the three words on Amsterdam's coat of arms. With her own cocktail bar at the stern and room for up to 32 people, she is our go-to boat for drinks receptions and festive cruises with colleagues, friends or family. Open in fair weather, covered in poor weather and in winter.

The Vastberaden is the very first boat of our company — the boat where it all began. We found her in 2017 as a bare hull on Marktplaats: a riveted aluminium sloop from the 1950s, with character, but without a past we could trace. Over the following years we restored her entirely in-house and launched her as a 100% electric vessel in 2019. Her name refers to one of the three words on Amsterdam's coat of arms: Heroic, Determined, Compassionate (Heldhaftig, Vastberaden, Barmhartig). A nod to the city where we sail every day, and to the determination it took to bring the boat back to the water from an empty hull. On board The Vastberaden seats a maximum of 32 people. At the stern we built a fully equipped cocktail bar with a professional Collins Station, where our hostess prepares cocktails, wines and soft drinks for you. The interior features teak accents and comfortable cushions. In fair weather we sail open; in rain or in winter the sloop is fully covered. Vibe Thanks to the seating arranged around the perimeter, the Vastberaden is ideally suited to seated, sociable cruises where guests can easily see and talk to each other. Perfect for client meetings, team outings, Friday afternoon drinks, bachelorettes, birthdays — outings with colleagues, friends or family.
