On Amsterdam's busiest days, boating is often the best place to experience the festivities. No crowds on the bridges, no queues for restaurants — but the best views, fixed catering, and a group that stays together. Below are our recurring events, with options and availability per day.

• King's Day — Orange facades, boats with music, people waving from the bridges — and you right in the middle of the party, with your own group and service on board. We offer 2 shifts per day and catering in consultation with our partners. Which boats are available: Prince of New Amsterdam — for an intimate King's Day with close friends or family Vastberaden — for a fun King's Day cruise with a cocktail bar and an optional DJ Halve Maen — our saloon boat, suitable for larger groups who want to be right in the middle of the party, with DJ option April 27th
• Pride Canal Parade — The most beautiful event on the Amsterdam annual calendar, and best viewed from the water. First-row seats on the Prinsengracht, a festively decorated boat, and a complete day taken care of for your party. Availability and scheduling Pride is one of the most beloved days of the year. Spots on the Prinsengracht are limited and sell out quickly. We recommend contacting us well in advance. Date: August 1, 2026 12:00 - 18:00 Saturday 1 August 2026
• Amsterdam Light Festival — From late November to mid-January, Amsterdam shines in light. Outside it is dark and cold, inside our boats it is warm and cozy — with mulled wine, hot chocolate, and light artworks passing by. Availability and scheduling Thursdays and Fridays in December are the busiest days of the year. We recommend contacting us well in advance — especially if you wish to sail on a specific evening. Which boats are available: Prince of New Amsterdam — for an intimate evening cruise with a small group, with heated cushions on board Vastberaden — for a cozy sloop cruise, covered and heated Halve Maen — our saloon boat, with mood lighting on board that suits the evening 26 November 2026 — 17 January 2027 Prince of New Amsterdam = 2-8 PAX, Vastberaden = 10-29 PAX, Halve Maen = 10-30 PAX
• Sail Amsterdam 2030 — Once every five years, the IJ transforms into a floating open-air museum. During SAIL 2030, we sail alongside and between the Tall Ships with all our vessels, with our own reception area on the shore before and after the trip. Which boats are available: Prince of New Amsterdam — for an intimate cruise between the ships, with a small group Vastberaden — for a pleasant sloop cruise past the Tall Ships Halve Maen — our saloon boat, suitable for larger groups wishing to experience SAIL in style 21-25 August 2030
• Football Ajax — Watch an important match with friends or colleagues on the big screen aboard the Halve Maen. Freshly tapped Heineken, warm snacks, sound throughout the boat — just like being in a pub, but on the Amsterdam canals. Availability and scheduling: De Halve Maen is a popular venue for all kinds of boat trips — cruises, dinners, corporate bookings. For football nights, the rule is: if the boat is still available on that evening, we are happy to organize a football cruise. For the Orange matches during the 2026 World Cup, we recommend booking your spot early.
