<h2>Boarding locations in Amsterdam</h2>
Boarding and disembarking always takes place at an official jetty — mooring outside official jetties is not permitted. Therefore, you will find a map with all boarding locations below. Enter the desired address and you will immediately see the nearest jetties, both on the map and in the list next to it.
By default, the map shows the locations for the Prince of New Amsterdam and the Vastberaden. Do you want to sail with the Halve Maen? Then switch the map to the saloon boat. Because the Halve Maen is taller and cannot pass under all bridges, accessible locations vary by boat.
Boarding and disembarking in the city center is free. Outside of the city center, we charge departure/departure fees, depending on the distance and the boat: the rate is 50% of the hourly rate of the boat in question. You specify your boarding and disembarking location in the booking tool, after which any costs are automatically included.
